The Broxbourne Core Strategy has recently been submitted to the Secretary of State and will now proceed to Examination.
The Core Strategy is a short and easy-to-read document which sets out a vision for Broxbourne as a prosperous and sustainable community. It contains ambitious but realistic plans to regenerate neighbourhoods by delivering high quality and sustainable buildings, enhance the sense of place and sense of community by promoting unique assets and provide new housing, employment, retail, leisure and other development as well as appropriate infrastructure, facilities and services.
Copies of this document as well as the full suite of sustainability appraisals, evidence studies and other documents can be downloaded from the Council’s website at www.broxbourne.gov.uk/corestrategy. Paper copies of the Submission Core Strategy can also be inspected at the Council’s Bishops College office in Cheshunt and all One Stop Shops and libraries in the borough.
